Drawing comparison’s to the girl-next-door charm of Zooey Deschanel, Portland’s Jasmine Ash combines bass-driven pop with shimmering electronics and catchy hooks on her debut album, Beneath The Noise.

Co-written and produced by Sam Farrar and Jacques Brautbar, Beneath The Noise is scheduled for release on Febraury 14th. You may well know Ash from her work with Portland’s indie pop affair Oh Darling or maybe from the tunes she’s placed on TV. Her cut “Starlight” currently underscores a Ferrer Roche commercial and “Cut Up” was featured in The Good Wife.

As if she has 12 more hours in the day than the rest of us, Ash is tirelessly persuing other projects as well, co-writing with UK’s Ed Sheeran, American Idol Winner Kris Allen, Disney creation R5 and Australian singer/songwriter Ben Lee.

“Give A Little Less” is the bubbling debut single from Beneath The Noise.
